Rutgers University Choir
The Rutgers University Choir presents After Rain: a misty program of contemporary choral works that, together, ask how we might move through our collective and personal storms. After Rain features many University Choir soloists and poets in works by Reena Esmail, Melissa Dunphy, Antonio Estévez, the Wailin’ Jennys, and more.
While the concert is free, University Choir will be collecting donations for the Urban Voices Project. Rooted in Skid Row through music, community, and openhearted inclusion of the most marginalized members of society, Urban Voices Project (UVP) amplifies artistic expression to improve well-being, strengthen social networks, and inspire individuals to be their own best advocates.
