Create yourself at Mason Gross
Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is a thriving arts conservatory housed within a nationally ranked research university. Here you will find exceptionally talented students, prestigious professional faculty, and a location just 45 minutes outside of New York City.
We are educating and inspiring professional visual artists, designers, dancers, choreographers, musicians, composers, actors, playwrights, directors, stage managers, technical directors, filmmakers, and arts educators. Our students are encouraged to create and develop their own artistic voice while honing the technical skills required to be masters of their craft.
All applicants to Mason Gross School of the Arts are required to submit two applications—the Rutgers University application and the Mason Gross supplemental application. Five business days after submitting the Rutgers University application, applicants are emailed a link to complete the Mason Gross supplemental application.
