Rutgers Arts Online at Rutgers University is busy cultivating rich learning experiences at the undergraduate level. We offer several courses for which students may earn Core Curriculum credits. We offer classes in all four Mason Gross School of the Arts disciplines: Dance, Music, Theater, and Visual Arts, as well as Cinematography.
Our online courses are intended primarily for Rutgers undergraduate students, as well as non-traditional, visiting students seeking to enrich their lives with high-quality instruction in the visual and performing arts.
To provide students with maximum scheduling flexibility, all Rutgers Arts Online courses are taught asynchronously: in other words, there is no regular weekly time slot during which students are expected to be "in class." Rather, course participants benefit from the opportunity to absorb information and complete weekly assignments at their own pace, as their schedule permits.
