Dance & Parkinson’s Movement/Dance classes

The Mason Gross School Dance Department continues to partner with the New Jersey Parkinson’s Disease Information and Referral Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital to present a series of movement classes for people with Parkinson’s disease. The program is made possible in part with support from a New Jersey Ballet grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

The MFA curriculum includes sequential scaffolding of coursework with intersecting course content in an effort to  encourage integrated learning. Based on the MFA degree program goals, curriculum areas include:
