Art & Design events are free and open to the public. Mason Gross Galleries are open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hours may vary on school holidays and during winter and summer break.

EXILE: Music of the Early-Modern Jewish Diaspora

The Incantare ensemble presents EXILE, which highlights Jewish music as it shifted and melded with traditions in early-modern Europe. The purpose of this project is to highlight the mutual influences of the early-modern European Jewish experience – to break down preconceptions of Jewish music and culture and explore the implications of diaspora on Jewish artistic legacy.
