Faculty featured in “State of the Arts” episode about Angela Davis exhibition

The latest episode of NJTV’s State of the Arts series features the Angela Davis — Seize the Time exhibition at the Zimmerli Art Museum, which focuses on the image of Davis, a political activist, scholar, and author. The exhibition, on view through June 15, 2022, was co-curated by Art & Design faculty Gerry Beegan and includes a sound work co-created by Art & Design faculty Steffani Jemison.

The episode features interviews with Beegan and Jemison, as well as co-curator Donna Gustafson, Interim Director of Zimmerli Art Museum, other artists, and Davis herself.
