Senior Thesis Showcase & New Lens Film Festival

“At the Rutgers Filmmaking Center, every student has one of their films projected annually at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. The culmination of these screenings takes place at the end of the spring semester with the Senior Thesis Showcase and the faculty-selected New Lens Film Festival

Showcases

Each year the Rutgers Filmmaking Center highlights BFA filmmaking student work at a showcase for each cohort. Juniors and sophomores screen their films in the fall semester while the first-year and transfer students and seniors screen their work in the spring. Films include documentary, fiction, and experimental work that students produced during the academic year.
