Festivals and Screenings
New Lens Film Festival
The Rutgers Filmmaking Center hosts the New Lens Film Festival every spring to promote work by BFA film students and others across Rutgers University.
Each year the Rutgers Filmmaking Center highlights BFA filmmaking student work at a showcase for each cohort. Juniors and sophomores screen their films in the fall semester while the first-year and transfer students and seniors screen their work in the spring. Films include documentary, fiction, and experimental work that students produced during the academic year.
Below are recent films that were showcased by BFA filmmaking students:
Last Thought by Christopher Rodriguez
Together by Ivanna Guerrero
Late Paradise by Robert Rackmil
Hiding Tonight by Ruby Ryan
27 Club by Samuel Spencer
Mommy by Vincent D’Alessandro
