Biography

Ruth trained as an Actor at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, after graduating she specialized as a theatre and arts education practitioner. Ruth has experience delivering numerous arts education, and outreach projects across an array of different educational and community settings. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of companies including The Young Vic Theatre, Now>Press>Play, Brit Kids at The Brit School, WTF Youth, The Miskin Theatre, Life with Art, Bigfoot Arts Education, NYMT (National Youth Music Theatre), Activ-8, and CSSD Youth Theatre. While working for ‘Life with Art’ Ruth gained invaluable experience working alongside and creating art with vulnerable adults. As a member of theatre collective Parrot (in the) Tank Ruth co-directed their 2014 production ‘Base Camp’ a collaboration with The Young Vic Theatre Taking Part and local SEN primary schools across Southwark. After training as a Globe Education Practitioner, Ruth joined the Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe team in August 2014 and has had the privilege of being part this wonderful program ever since.
