TAPinto names MGSA dean and alumna to its “People to Watch in 2024” list

TAPinto New Brunswick has named Dean Jason Geary and DMA alumna Jessie Mersinger to its list of People to Watch in 2024, a series focusing on newsmakers across all sectors of the city.

Geary was cited for his continuing dedication to championing initiatives such as the portfolio development program, the interdisciplinary “Interplay” course, and the Arts in Health Research Lab, while Mersinger was noted for her help in revitalizing the music program at New Brunswick High School, where she is the director of instrumental music and oversees the marching band as well as concert band, jazz band, and orchestra.
