Art & Design events are free and open to the public. Mason Gross Galleries are open Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursdays and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Saturdays, 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours may vary on school holidays and during winter and summer break.

MLK Celebration: Poor People’s Campaign

Performances centered around the 1968 march planned by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as he sought to gain economic justice for poor people in the United States. Featuring a documentary about the campaign by film student Muhammed Qadar; performances by the Rutgers University Jazz Ensemble and Kirkpatrick Choir with students from the Cicely L. Tyson Community School of Performing and Fine Arts; a digital collage; and more.
