Design Thesis Exhibition

| March 07, 2023 - March 27, 2023 | Mason Gross Galleries

Reception 6–9 p.m. Thursday, March 9

Undergraduate and graduate work in design.

LOREM IPSUM features the work of graduating BFA designers, including a website archive on consumerism, a risograph poster series on linguistics and identity, an animation echoing nostalgic cartoons, an augmented reality book puzzle, a pop-up shop featuring student collaborations, and an octophonic sound installation.

In SANCTUARIES, MFA design students use interactive installations to rethink how we might understand and experience sanctuaries. See works that address memorial design; challenge the censorship and stigma of menstruation; and conduct experiments that highlight contrasts between the ways humans and machines process trauma.

Free
