Mike Noordzy plays upright and electric bass in a variety of styles, specializing in jazz and improvised music. Some of Noordzy’s current projects include ¡El Noordzo!, an afro-cuban jazz band that interprets music from bands like Nirvana, The Beatles, and Radiohead. He also composes music for film and runs the experimental music label NACHT records. Noordzy teaches Jazz Improvisation Online.
