Biography

Maritza serves as principal liaison to the university office of Institutional Planning and Operation (IP&O) and to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Technology and Instruction, on behalf of Mason Gross School of the Arts, and manages operations and facilities at Mason Gross School of the Arts, organizing events, logistics, and scheduling. Maritza also serves as the chief safety coordinator for the school, working in partnership with the departments and campus police to ensure that safety and readiness protocols are in place and are being adhered to across the school. Maritza received her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and in her early in her career worked at Rutgers in planning and facilities and continued her career with Walt Disney World and Princeton University before joining Mason Gross School of the Arts in December 2021.
