Biography

Leighann Narum has been a College Faculty instructor and chamber music coach for Rutgers Community Arts since 2007. She performs regularly at the Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University-Newark, New York City and overseas. She studied and lived for nearly 5 years in Spain where she taught for the International Institute and International College of Spain. While she often teaches high school, college, and adult students, she began her classical guitar studies at age 6 and enjoys inspiring children to play. Leighann has successfully prepared students for college auditions and her students have been accepted at Rutgers University; The Peabody Institute; Eastman, Cleveland Institute of Music; Mannes and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
