Biography

Laura Weber received a PhD in musicology from Yale University in 2009. Since then she has taught music history at the Jacobs School of Music at IU-Bloomington, Columbia University, and the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers.

Her research interests include the history of theory, with a particular focus on the theory of the Middle Ages, the polyphony of the late Middle Ages, and Baroque vocal music.
