Azusa Hokugo Komiyama is a pianist, keyboardist, chamber recitalist, and music instructor. Dr. Hokugo has appeared as guest soloist with the Osaka, Nishinomiya and Kobe Symphony Orchestras in Japan, Long Island University Wind Orchestra in New York, the Mahidol Wind Symphony in Thailand, and the Mus'Art Wind Orchestra in Singapore. As an additional 4th member of Ahn Trio, she performed Mark O'Connor's Triple Concerto with Spokane Symphony, and Owensboro Symphony Orchestra. She was also featured in the Emmy Award winning PBS television series 11th & Grant with Eric Funk. Additionally, she has given noted chamber performances with Vilomos Olah, Concertmaster of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra; Grammy winning Cassatt String Quartet, and the New York Philharmonic Principal Tubist, Alan Baer.
