Asher Allen is an alum of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with an EdM in Dance Education and BFA in Dance Performance. Besides teaching at Rutgers, Asher teaches dance at Highland Park Middle School as well as private studios in Central New Jersey. Asher most recently performed in the ensemble of Rock of Ages at Plays-in-the-Park in Edison, New Jersey, and as Frenchie in Cabaret at the Brook Art Center in Bound Brook, New Jersey. While at Mason Gross, they performed works by Katy Pyle, Evelyn Wang, Lar Lubovitch, The Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, and Randy James.
