Rutgers Sinfonia
Featuring Dark Mountains, by Robert Paterson, a work commissioned by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra and premiered in 2011, which musically depicts the mountain landscape in the Northeastern United States with occasional reminiscences of Copland’s Appalachian Spring. The program also includes works by Russian composers Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich.
