Mason Gross Galleries is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a solo show of Melanie Yazzie as part of its annual Indigenous Artist Showcase this year in conjunction with the Co-Cureate shows.

In Memories, Melanie Yazzie uses layers of screen-printed maps, relief blocks, monotype, painting and drawing inspired by nature and themes of the sacred in her home community​. Mixing a rich variety of visual source material, Yazzie’s practice develops a rich and coded personal visual language that encapsulates a wide variety of approaches to printmaking.
