Biography

Rhys Bambrick is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sculpture facilities at the Livingston Art Building at MGSA. He also supports BFA and MFA students in their efforts to make their artwork. Rhys is a sculptor interested in building classical forms with unconventional and often synthetic media. He has recently exhibited at 6month space, New York NY; 286 grand, New York, NY; and el quadrado gris, San Juan, PR. He holds a BA in Studio Art from Vassar College and an MFA in Sculpture from The San Francisco Art Institute. Before coming to Rutgers, he worked as an art educator and a freelance art fabricator.
