Quinton McEvoy is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and after that, he attended SUNY Purchase College’s Conservatory of the Arts for his BFA degree, majoring in Theatre Design/Technology with a concentration in Technical Direction and Production. After graduating from college, he spent three years in Florida at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, starting as their assistant technical director and later becoming their technical director. In 2022, he moved back to the New York area, freelancing as a technical director and project manager for various events and companies, before joining The Signature Theatre in Manhattan full-time. McEvoy has worked for several off-Broadway venues and shows, as well as for various Broadway shows, live events, concerts, and regional theatres. He still maintains a presence in the industry freelancing as a technical director, draftsman, carpenter, and manager during his off time. When not working McEvoy enjoys all things nerdy: video games, anime and manga, board games, comic books, Pokémon cards, etc.
