Julia Shicatano is a dance artist and educator who graduated from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts where she received a BFA in Dance and EdM in Dance Education with a K-12 teaching certification. She has taught dance and somatic practices in high school performing arts programs in New Jersey including Hopewell Valley Central High School and Ridge High School. As a performer, Julia’s work spans musical theater, television, film, and commercial media. Performance highlights include Disney’s Beauty and the Beast with Walnut Street Theatre, The Bodyguard: The Musical with Clear Space Theatre Company, Jagged Little Pill and Rock of Ages with The Actors Studio of New Jersey, and work with RWS Entertainment in New York City. In addition to teaching and performing, she serves as an adjudicator for national dance competitions across the East Coast and Midwest.
