Biography

As the Administrative Coordinator of the Music Department, Christopher Delgado wears many hats.  Delgado works with the students, faculty, and staff to ensure the school’s large ensembles run smoothly.  He also manages the Instrument Loan Office, Archival Recordings, and Federal Work Study program.  Delgado is the Brass Coordinator where he assists Area Head Kenneth DeCarlo with all things Brass at Mason Gross.

Delgado has received his DMA in trumpet performance and currently freelances and teaches in the greater New York area. He is versed in a large spectrum of repertoire ranging from baroque on the natural trumpet to 21st-century electro acoustic compositions using Ableton Live.  Most recently he has been working with the American Ballet Theatre at Lincoln Center and the American Symphony. He currently teaches private lessons in trumpet for Rutgers Community Arts.
