Biography

Cassandra Oliveras-Moreno is the Administrator of Communications and Collaboration in the Department of Art & Design at Rutgers University, where she also serves on the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee for Mason Gross School of the Arts. She co-founded Windows of Understanding, a community-based initiative that unites artists, local organizations, and Rutgers University with the arts councils of New Brunswick, Highland Park and Metuchen to promote social justice issues.

Cassandra is a member of the New Brunswick Community Arts Council; Trustee of the Highland Park Library; and founding member on the board of the nonprofit Design For Public History. With two decades of experience in the field of arts administration, she has worked in Marketing and Community Relations for a variety of cultural institutions including The Roundabout Theatre Company, Ballet Hispanico, El Museo del Barrio, and The 92nd Street Y. She holds a BA in Spanish and an MCIS in Strategic Organizational Communication from Rutgers University.
