Biography

Ana Leon Bella has worked in movement for over 20 years as a dancer, fitness expert, and dance educator. She is a Laban Certified Movement Analyst (CMA), a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator (RSMT/E) with ISMETA, a Certified Polestar Reformer Instructor, and a Certified Moving for Life Instructor (MFLCI) working with people with chronic health issues.

Ana teaches and lectures on diverse topics in dance including but not limited to Laban/Barteneiff Movement Studies, dance history, dance criticism, improvisation, and somatic movement. She is also a Dance Artist for the Phyllis Rose Dance Company bringing dance into elementary and middle schools in the tri-state region.
