Biography

Amee is responsible for the academic and career planning of all BFA and BA students in the department. She has over 20 years’ experience in art education, formerly teaching throughout NYC and at CAL, Teacher’s College, Columbia University and The College of New Rochelle. Amee holds an MFA in Book Arts & Printmaking from The University of the Arts, an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Art Education & Design from Pratt Institute, and a BA in Art & Art History from Franklin & Marshall College.Her artists’ books, under the banner of Spitz & Pollack, are in such permanent collections as Yale University, the Brooklyn Museum, The Getty Research Institute and The National Museum of Women in the Arts. Her recent site-specific sculpture Bench of Our Times 2019 rests in the borough of Highland Park, NJ.
