Art & Design alum named to Forbes 30 Under 30 List 2026

Art & Design alum Sophia-Yemisi Adeyemo (MFA’25) has made the Forbes 30 Under 30 United States List 2026, alongside tennis player Coco Gauff, musician Doechii, and actor Chase Infiniti, among others. Forbes says the class on its 15th-annual list “features up-and-coming visionaries shaping tomorrow.”

Adeyemo is one of three Rutgers alumnae to make this year’s list spotlighting 600 young athletes, artists, entrepreneurs, and others; Alexandra Cooney (SC&I) and Kyra Yap (SoE) also appear on the list. Adeyemo is named in the Art & Style category. Cooney is cited for Marketing & Advertising, and Yap for Science.

This isn’t the first time a Mason Gross alum has made the list: Art & Design alum Grace Lynne Haynes (MFA’22), who has designed two New Yorker covers and partnered with Old Navy in 2023 to design a Black History Month T-shirt, appeared on the Forbes 30 Under 30 United States List 2020.
