Events
We have launched a wide variety of events to connect with alumni, both from MGSA and the wider Rutgers community. Recent events include traveling to Washington, D.C., to host an alumni reception prior to a performance of Death on the Nile at Arena Stage, featuring alum Ryan Michael Neely; gathering for a singalong at Kirkpatrick Chapel to celebrate the David Drinkwater Endowed Scholarship; and receptions in New York City, Philadelphia, and New Hope, PA. October 1, 2026 | Arts Homecoming
Please join us from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, October, 1, to celebrate Rutgers homecoming the Mason Gross way! We invite all Mason Gross alumni and faculty to this free event, which will feature a reception from 6 to 7:15 p.m. in Mortensen Hall followed by a performance in Mastrobuono Theater from Nashville-based singer-songwriter AJAYE. Also: Catch MGSA music ed student Sam Tunkel as the opener. This concert, presented in collaboration with Instrumental Opportunity Foundation, kicks off the Rutgers–New Brunswick Homecoming & Family Weekend. Register for the reception by September 28.
