The Mason Gross School of the Arts Extension Division provides high quality instruction in the arts to students of all ages and ability levels. The Mason Gross Preparatory School seeks to nurture the innate artistic abilities of children from infancy through high school. Classroom, ensemble, and private instruction by our distinguished faculty provide a rich environment for development and growth. Students who excel in their studies and demonstrate the desire for musical training at the highest level may apply for the Young Artist Program of study. Adult programs facilitate exploration and lifelong experiences in the arts. Courses of study are available for beginners, enthusiastic amateurs, and those with professional training. Teacher advancement opportunities enable teachers and other professionals to pursue development in areas of the arts that are enriching and directly relevant to their work. Summer programs offer intensive study in dance, music, theater arts, and visual arts. During the summer months, members of the collegiate faculty and renowned guest artists work with students ranging from children to professionals.
