Bassoonapalooza is a day‐long bassoon workshop created to provide the skills needed for successful bassoon playing (solo and ensemble) to students at all levels. Students will discover and develop musical skills through participation in coaching sessions, master classes, and workshops. The art of making bassoon reeds and fundamental concepts of reed adjustment will be explored in workshop format with Dr. Christopher Wickham, owner of CW Reeds. Bassoonapalooza culminates in a performance featuring participants and more than twenty bassoons in a bassoon choir.
