Born in South Korea, Sharon began playing the violin at 2 years old. She moved to Austria and when she was fifteen and became the youngest student to enroll in the University for Darstellende Kunst Wien earning her Bachelor of Music, Master of Arts degrees, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Violin Performance. 
She went on to earn her Artist Diploma Certificate at Yale School of Music with a full scholarship. Ms. Cho has recently completed a Doctorate in Musical Arts at Rutgers University receiving honors and a full scholarship.

Sonya Headlam’s musical journey began with piano lessons at the age of 5. She began formal voice training at the age of 16 and has since had a wide range of vocal performance experience in choral singing, musical theater, jazz, popular and classical music styles.

Instructor, Little Knights at East Brunswick After School Kids

Ilana Silverman is an elementary music teacher in the East Brunswick Public Schools. Silverman graduated from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University.  She holds a bachelor of music degree with a major in music education. During her time as a Rutgers Student, Silverman served as a choral intern for the Rutgers Children’s Choir. She is thrilled to return to the program as a teacher.
