Health and Safety
The Mason Gross Performing Arts Center is governed by policies developed by Rutgers University. This policy may be updated as clarification is provided by the Rutgers Covid Committee.
We are committed to your safety and will adhere to the following protocols:
Vaccination Status
ALL event attendees age 5 and above* will be required to show proof of full vaccination (i.e. they should be two weeks past their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer/Biontech vaccine or two weeks past the single dose of the J&J vaccine). Guests may display proof of vaccination on a smartphone or present a physical copy (either physical card or a photocopy of the card). Acceptable forms of electronic proof include a photo of your vaccination card or a digital app (e.g. myRutgers Dashboard, Docket, the Excelsior Pass, or NYC Covid Safe).
ALL event attendees age 5 and above* who are unable to show proof of full vaccination are required to provide proof of a negative PCR test or laboratory-processed antigen test taken within 72 hours of the performance time. All tests must be performed by a medical professional and should clearly state the patron’s name, date/time of test, and the service provider (e.g. private practice, CVS, medical clinic, lab result portal, etc.).
Photo ID and Masking
Effective immediately, face coverings are no longer required at Mason Gross Performing Arts Center events. Face masks are optional for those who choose to wear them. Additionally, a valid photo ID is no longer required for entry.
Campus Pass
Self-screening using the My Campus Pass is no longer required. However, the tool will remain available for use.
*Children under the age of 5 are not permitted into any performances.
Policies will vary at NBPAC. Make sure you are up to date with NBPAC policies by visiting the NBPAC website: https://nbpac.org/covid-health-safety/.
