Biography

Dr. Sanon-Jules has more than 25 years of experience in higher education where she has worked in various aspects of higher education with the Educational Opportunity Fund Program, the Ronald M. McNair Program, the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program, and the Honors College. Prior to her time at Rutgers, Sanon-Jules also worked at The College of New Jersey and Peirce College, where she gained invaluable experience in career advising, admissions, and international student affairs.

Sanon-Jules completed her EdD at Rutgers University, her MA in Student Affairs Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University, and her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. She has certification in professional coaching from the CaPP Institute of Counseling and Positive Psychology. Her research interests lie in the areas of high achieving first-generation college students from underrepresented backgrounds and in issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Sanon-Jules serves as a diversity consultant and a certified professional coach specializing in career and life issues among BIPOC women. Sanon-Jules frequently serves as an instructor for courses in community engagement, leadership, and women studies.

When she isn’t working with Mason Gross students, she enjoys reading, running marathons, and spending time with family!
