The Young Artists Program is inviting all pre-college musicians and instructors of pre-college musicians to participate in a free audition workshop with renowned flautist Jayn Rosenfeld on January 13, 2013.

Jayn Rosenfeld, flutist and executive director of The New York New Music Ensemble, plays with the League of Composers/ISCM Ensemble and Orchestra, the Richardson Players at Princeton University and the Washington Square Contemporary Music Society.  She is the first flutist of the Princeton Symphony Orchestra and performs and coaches at the Manchester (VT) Music Festival.  Presently a teacher at the Princeton University, and at the Greenwich House Music School, she is active on the boards of the ISCM and the New York Flute Club. She has recorded concerti by Cimarosa, Steiger, Kraft, Gilbert, et al, the flute chamber music of Albert Roussel, and many contemporary chamber works.
