Hanneline Røgeberg

Professor in Painting; Department Undergraduate Director

Røgeberg is a painter who received her bachelor of fine arts from San Francisco Art Institute and master of fine arts from Yale School of Art. She has exhibited nationally and internationally with shows at Contemporary Art Center, Cincinnati; Vancouver Art Museum, B.C.;  and the Henie-Onstad Kunst Senter, Oslo. She has shown in group shows in the Astrup-Fearnley Museum, Oslo; the InsideOut Art Museum, Beijing; The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgfield, CT; the MIT List Center, Boston; and the Whitney Museum of American Art and the American Academy of Arts and Letters, NY. She has received an NEA-Westaf grant, a Guggenheim fellowship, an Anonymous Was A Woman grant, and OCA publication grant.

She previously taught at University of Washington, Cooper Union, and Yale University, and was a visiting artist at Skowhegan in 2009.

She is represented by Blackston Gallery.
