Toby MacLennan
Performance
Toby MacLennan utilizes performance, sculpture, film, and
environments to crystallize her ideas. Her published books include I Walked Out
of 2 and Forgot It, The Shape of the Stone Was Stoneshaped, and Singing the
Stars. Currently she is writing nonfiction books. Her performance work and
installations have been seen in leading Canadian museums, galleries, and
planetaria and in New York at the Franklin Furnace, P.S. 1, P.S. 122, and the
Clocktower. Her films have been shown in festivals around the world.
