| Theater Arts Summer Acting Conservatory Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory for High School Students Application Form - FAQ - Financial Aid NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2010 The Rutgers University Summer Acting Conservatory is a four-week program designed to allow high school students the opportunity to experience intensive, professional actor training taught by accomplished professionals within the context of a college environment.
The rigorous aspects of actor training include daily classes in acting, movement, and voice/speech. All classes are taught by working theater professionals. In addition, students participate in Master classes, special seminars, and activities. Special emphasis is placed on developing fundamental acting skills to further the students' development as an accomplished performer. Students also take classes in Theater History, Theater Appreciation, and Stage Craft. RSAC Musical Theater Track RSAC's newest program of study where only 12 to 14 talented students will study our celebrated acting technique with equal focus on singing and dancing. Experienced Broadway professionals will offer unique classes and rigorous training to challenge students.

Highly Selective- Apply now!! The Rutgers Summer Acting Conservatory invites talented high school students to apply to this highly competitive program. We are dedicated to providing students with a safe, challenging, high-quality learning environment where each student will grow and develop as a young theater artist.
Students will reside in college dormitories within walking distance of their classes. Meals are provided by the college cafeterias, which are also within walking distance of the dormitories and classrooms. College counselors will reside in the dormitories to oversee, support and ensure the safety of students.
No more than 38 high school students from across the country are accepted: 24 in the acting program and 12 to 14 in the musical theater track.
