Sari Ruskin

BA Theater

Before coming to Rutgers, Sari Ruskin trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse and HB Studios. She studied dance with Sophie Maslow at the New Dance Group Studio and holds a master's degree in theater from CCNY. As an actress, Ruskin has worked off-Broadway and in regional theater. She was the artistic director of The Laguna Canyon Players and lead singer with the Chapel Hill Trio. Ruskin has worked as an educator for more than 20 years in New York where she developed a creative dramatics program as an adjunct to reading development programs in New York City and Long Island. She brings her experience as singer, dancer, actor, storyteller, and educator to her position at Mason Gross, teaching Improvisation, Storytelling and Creative Dramatics.
