Alan McIntyre Smith studied filmmaking with the Oscar-nominated/Sundance winner Jill Godmilow at the University of Notre Dame. Currently, he is a New York based cinematographer shooting feature films, TV shows, and music videos. Recent projects include the music video for the breakout hit single, *“Love Like Woe,” by the Ready Set and “Session,” an Israeli feature film released in 2011, starring Bar Refaeli (Sports Illustrated cover model) and Steven Bauer (Scarface). Smith currently shoots several TV shows, including TLC’s “Four Weddings” and *Discovery: Fit & Health’s “Facing Trauma.” Smith has also served as chief lighting technician for the Oscar winning film “Taxi to the Dark Side” and Oscar-nominated “Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room,” as well as the Sundance hit “The Station Agent.” He teaches cinematography at Purchase College, State University of New York and at the Rutgers Center for Digital Filmmaking.
