Mark Piotrowski

Production Stage Manager

Mark Piotrowski oversees all elements of production for the Nicholas Music Center during concerts and other events, including stage management, lighting, sound, and projections. He staffs all music department events in other performance venues around campus, and provides tech support where needed. Before joining the music department in 1999, Piotrowski was a freelance Equity stage manager in New York City and New Jersey, stage manager and electrician for various road houses in Southern California, and roadie for heavy metal bands on Hollywood's Sunset Strip in the 1980's. Piotrowski received his MFA in stage management from the theater department at Mason Gross School of the Arts, and a BA in English from California State University at Chico.
