Woodwind Day 2017

10 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Sunday, October 22, 2017
Annual Rutgers Woodwind Day featuring clarinet duo AdZel Duo, and Mason Gross School of the Arts faculty and students in recitals and master classes.
Woodwind enthusiasts (professionals, teachers, students, and amateurs of all ages and abilities) are encouraged to attend and to play in master classes. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend presentations, visit a variety of vendors who will have instruments and accessories for sale and trial, and visit Elefante Music who will provide free minor onsite repairs. Other vendors include CW Reeds--Bassoon Reeds, Flute ProShop, and Silverstein Works.

10 a.m. – Registration, in the lobby between Rehearsal Hall 104 and the Nicholas Music Center stage door
10:30 a.m. - Mason Gross faculty and student concert in Nicholas Music Center
11:30 a.m. - Mason Gross faculty master classes in flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone for participants. Registrants should indicate when they register if they would like to play in these individual instrument master classes. Rooms will include Shindell Choral Hall, Nicholas Music Center, Schare Recital Hall, Marryott Music Building 109, and Marryott Music Building 207.
12:30 p.m. - Pizza lunch break
1:30 p.m. - Participant Woodwind Ensemble rehearsal in Schare Recital Hall
2:30 p.m. - AdZel Duo master class for Mason Gross students in Shindell Choral Hall
4:30 p.m. - Woodwind Ensemble performance in Shindell Choral Hall
5 p.m. - AdZel Duo concert in Shindell Choral Hall
