Rutgers Kirkpatrick Choir: "Lou Harrison 101"

A celebration of radical, postwar composer Harrison’s 101st birthday, featuring the world premiere of Christopher Marshall’s Dark Night of the Soul, as well as Harrison's Three Songs for chorus and chamber orchestra, paired with the mystical power of Arvo Pärt’s Te Deum for string orchestra, synthesizer, and chorus.

Guest artists the Rutgers University Glee Club will open the concert  with a performance of three works for organ and men’s chorus by Estonian composers Arvo Pärt, René Eespere, and Veljo Tormis.
