Oedipus Rex concert to stream LIVE March 7

Join the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra, Rutgers University Glee Club, and the Men of the Rutgers Kirkpatrick Choir on March 7, 2014, at 6 p.m. as they perform Stravinsky's Oedipus Rex—the first-ever live-streaming concert in Mason Gross history.

Conducted by Patrick Gardner, the concert features Vale Rideout as Oedipus and Jennifer Rivera, winner of New York City Opera's Debut Artist of Year award, as Jocasta, as well as Andrew Stuckey as Creon, Curtis Streetman as Tiresias, Mark A. Boyle as the Shepherd, and Robert Osborne the Messenger. The Speaker will be voiced by Elliott Forrest, a Peabody Award-winning broadcaster and producer heard on WQXR 105.9, New York’s classical music radio station, and host of more than 60 concerts at Carnegie Hall.

The streaming audio and video will be available through Livestream HERE. Follow Mason Gross on Livestream for access to upcoming live events.
