"But no, yeah" gallery show through April 15

Thirty-three New Jersey artists are set to exhibit their work in but no, yeah, a show running from Thursday, April 4 to Tuesday, April 22, 2013, at the Mason Gross Galleries at Civic Square.

The artists, all students in the BFA program at the Mason Gross School of the Arts, are exhibiting work in a variety of media as a culmination of their time in the school’s studio program. This is the first installment of two exhibitions featuring graduating artists as they prepare to launch themselves into the world of fully independent art-making.

This title of the show, but no, yeah has been formulated by the students as part of a greater word bank of potential combinations of phrases and small words that people say when looking at art. For a full list of word combinations, visit their website.

But no, yeah runs Thursday, April 4 to Tuesday, April 22, 2013, at the Mason Gross Galleries at Civic Square, 33 Livingston Ave. in New Brunswick, N.J. Admission is FREE. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays,10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
