Mason Gross Presents: Jennie C. Jones

Lecture by alum Jennie C. Jones, who uses abstraction and minimalism to draw connections between experimental jazz and visual arts as markers of social evolution and political strivings. Jones has been named the recipient of the 2017 Ruth Ann and Nathan Perlmutter Artist-in-Residence Award from the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University. The award recognizes emerging artists’ achievements and supports a yearly residency program at Brandeis.
