Kids Create summer camp registration deadline July 1

Let your children camp it up and indulge their inner artist this summer as they immerse themselves in music, dance, theater and visual arts in the Mason Gross Extension Division's Kids Create program.

Between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., children ages 6 to 12 develop their imaginations and skills through drawing, painting, collage, movement, music, improvisational theater, creative dramatics and playwriting. Artists from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts and Youth Stages lead the classes.

Each week’s offerings are unique, so children may participate in one or both weeks. Camp weeks end with showcases, giving students the opportunity to perform for their families. No prior experience needed. Before- and aftercare are available for an additional charge.

Camp dates: Aug. 15 and Aug. 812, 2011
$335 per week. Sibling discounts available.
Registration deadline: July 1, 2011
