Elizabeth Malone

Elizabeth Malone is from Bellingham, Washington, where she began to study ballet, modern, flamenco, tap, hip-hop and jazz.  In 2004, she completed the Teacher’s Summer Seminar at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Elizabeth holds a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts, of Seattle, Washington.  During her studies, she focused on performing, teaching, and choreography. Elizabeth danced for ARC Dance Company in Seattle, Washington for two seasons before moving to the east coast.  While in Washington, DC, Elizabeth continued to dance professionally and teach in the outreach program for ReVision dance company, a resident company of Dance Place, while also teaching full time for Joy of Motion Dance Center.  The opportunities that have come her way have shaped her interest and fueled her enjoyment of teaching and exploring creative processes of different ages and abilities. Elizabeth is excited to be studying in her first year of graduate school for her MFA in Dance at the Mason Gross School of the Arts of Rutgers University.
