Harpist Elizabeth Hainen, Curtis Institute of Music’s harp faculty member and principal harpist of the Philadelphia Orchestra; violinist/violist Scott St. John, Curtis alumnus and former member of the St. Lawrence String Quartet; and a flutist, cellist, and vocalist who are all current Curtis students. Selections include Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune and Sonata (flute, viola, harp) by Debussy, Beloved Night by Danielpour, Sonata for Flute and Harp, Op. 56 by Liebermann, Duo for Violin and Cello by Weinberg, and Shéhérazade by Ravel.

An embodiment of the school’s “learn by doing” philosophy, Curtis on Tour brings the world-renowned artistry of the Curtis Institute of Music across the country and around the globe. Since Curtis on Tour was established in 2008, students, faculty, and alumni have traveled to more than 50 destinations in Europe, Asia, and North and South America, with new venues added each year. Curtis on Tour is generously funded by Nina von Maltzahn through the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation.
