the co-cureate shows

Mason Gross Galleries
Thursday, September 29–Monday, October 17, 2016
Reception: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016, with live performances by Sam Ashford (MFA) and Sarina Aquino (BFA) at the Mason Gross Galleries
Representing a hybrid of Collaboration, Curation and Creation, the co-cureate shows are a bundle of mini-exhibits organized by curatorial teams of BFA and MFA students at Mason Gross School of the Arts. Each team has conceptualized a show, recruited peers to exhibit, and have curated and installed the works in spaces across Rutgers University (Mason Gross Galleries, Rutgers Art Library, Douglass Student Center). These intrepid shows feature art across a variety of mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, media, print, and performance.
